Dealing with the Real Problem


For many of us, losing weight is like a game we can’t win. We try to play by the rules – eating right, exercising, taking the right supplements, but we don’t get results. And sometimes we can’t seem to play by the rules – no matter how hard we try. It’s like were driven by some monster within us to sabotage ourselves.

If we have a problem, but all we ever deal with are the symptoms we can’t free ourselves from the problem. It may seem to go away for a while, but it always recurrs. This is where most of us find ourselves when it comes to losing weight. It is an endless struggle with brief periods of seeming success continually undermined by breakdowns and set backs. Even if we manage to stay at a healthy weight we worry about food all the time and are never really free of anxiety about our bodies.  This is a stressful, painful way to live and it can’t ever change until we deal with it at its roots.

Poor eating habits, lack of exercise, and even “bad genes” are really just symptoms of a deeper problem (yes, you can change your genes – or, rather, change how they function). When we deal with the deeper problem our bodies can gradually, naturally achieve a healthy weight and stay there with very little conscious effort on our part. This is the real choice each of us has when dealing with weight loss – continue to live the vicious cycle of stressing about food and exercise, watching the scale, and never finding peace OR really deal with the problem at its root.

The root of the vicious cycle lies in how our bodies, brains and minds function – how we’re built at a basic level. This course explains why our minds and bodies make it so hard to lose wight, keep it off, and have a happy relationship with food as long as we play by the accepted rules of the weight loss game (essentially, exercise more and eat less). The purpose of this course is to give you a crystal clear vision of how you can free yourself from the weight loss game forever.

  • Class meets live by conference call at 8pm EST  every Monday night for 8 weeks
  • Each class is about 1 hour
  • You can dial into class live from any phone. After I present 45-50 minutes of content you’ll be able to ask questions live over the phone.
  • Each class call gets recorded and posted to a website. You’ll be able to listen to any class whenever you wish from any computer, or download the classes as MP3′s to listen to on any mobile device.
